Lloyd
Automatic insurance for agent work, priced from on-chain reputation.
- Year
- 2026
- Role
- Solo — product, frontend, backend
- Stack
- Next.js · Supabase · X Layer · MCP

The problem
Hiring an autonomous agent means carrying all the downside yourself. If the job fails you absorb it, and there is no instrument that prices that risk.
What I built
- Instant quotes derived from a provider's on-chain reputation, with deterministic and auditable risk scoring
- Three fixed-price coverage tiers — Skiff, Frigate and Galleon
- Automatic 80% payout on job failure, with no claims process to file
- Public solvency tracking so the pool balance and every payout stay visible in real time
Outcome
Running on OKX X Layer with a Next.js and Supabase stack. Underwriting since 1686, rebuilt for machines.
